March, 1993 - The music video for “Sliver” was filmed by Kevin Kerslake. It was later released in May. Kurt’s idea for the video, which was shot in his garage, was to fill up the garage with his possessions to make it look like his old apartment. Frances Bean (the child in the video) was made to look like she was dancing as Kurt cut armholes in a big piece of cardboard, placing Frances in front of it and putting his arms through, holding her up and moving her.  The video was created to promote “Incesticide.”
