"Pat Smear told me that Kurt loved "Exhausted" too, and he wanted Nirvana to do it, but he didn’t want to ask me if he could change the lyrics. I wish he had because I would have said, ‘Absolutely.’ To have that beautiful voice over one of my songs would have been amazing. After what happened to Kurt, there was a lot of emphasis placed on the meaning of the first Foo Fighters album, but I’d deliberately written nonsensical lyrics. There was too much to say." - Dave Grohl, 2009.

(Via:thepillowproblem): Suffering from my only newly diagnosed lactose intolerance, I began to look for famous celebrities also popping Lactaid & Rolaids as much as I did. I realized in a fever that Kurt Cobain was more than likely a kindred spirit. In an inspirational 24 hours, I put together this proposition, which includes a biographical read, some lyrical analysis, as well as some metrical scansion, and lots of inside jokes about 90’s subculture.

Check out this anti-drug ad from 15 years ago. Apparently Newport cigarettes were forced to advertise anti-drug ads for $500 million dollars a year. These ads were featured in various ‘Spin’ magazines that also featured #Nirvana articles. [x]
